Breakers Beach House serves Jersey milk, this milk is made in a sustainable way. As the name gives away, this milk comes from a Jersey cow, a small brown cow with a white muzzle. The cow is originally from the island of Jersey, a British Channel Island. Because the cow is smaller, it produces less milk compared to other cows, but Jersey milk, on the other hand, contains more valuable fats and proteins. For example, the Jersey cow requires 30 percent less nutrition than a normal cow and produces 9 percent less nitrogen and phosphate emissions, all of which reduces climate impact by between 4 and 17 percent.
